2024 Wedding Trends

2024 Brides this one’s for you! Planning a wedding can be overwhelming especially when you don’t want your wedding to blend in with all of the other's taking place around you. Don’t be afraid to think outside the box for your big day and add some flair into the day. Jules has put together list of trends that starting showing near the end of 2023 and we believe will be a big hit in 2024. Something that we love about these trends is that every bride can show them off differently based on their own personal style. Read more about them down below.

Fewer posed photos and more candid content

There is too much love and joy going on this day to be posed 24/7. The photos of the belly laughs, sweets and intimate moments, tears that escape, drinks raised for cheers, and dance moves you may not remember in the morning will be the most memorable moments you look upon 30 years down the road.

Digital guest books - Something that became really popular at the end of 2023 and will end up being so memorable to listen to or look at years down the road. We’ve included some photos above of telephone guest books and is normally a popular pick among brides. Polaroid guest books are super cute in theory but normally takes a lot of explanation to guests and can be heavy on maintenance with the cameras! Having a digital guestbook ensures that the memories live on forever.

Providing dressing guidelines for guests - Brides do not feel bad for asking your guests to dress a certain way. You have worked to plan a beautiful day that perfectly captures your style and the guest attire is apart of that. Popular ones we’ve seen done are guests wearing all black or all white to the ceremony.

Champagne towers - Look no further for a perfect addition to your cocktail hour/reception! Champagne towers will add something classy to your reception and add a touch of elegance to golden hour/nighttime photos with your new hubby and friends.

Smaller bridal parties - More intimate bridal and wedding parties are coming into style. Don’t stress about not asking everyone you know to be a bridesmaid. Choose the people who will be there for you the most during the planning process and your big day. One way to include more in your bride tribe is to have a bigger crowd for your bachelorette party and/or bridal shower!

Non-matching bridesmaids dresses - This has been blowing up our social media and for good reason! Having non-matching bridesmaids dresses captures so many different aspects of your wedding aesthetic and brings out the personality of each of your bridesmaids.

Larger focal floral statements - Having your florals be the showstopper of your wedding is truly something magical, especially when it can be a versatile piece. To help cut the costs of florals you can focus on one big piece instead of numerous pieces around your ceremony and reception. Remember brides your bouquet and your bridesmaids bouquets can also live on as centerpieces, and other table decor.

Bolder colors - We are a big fan of the timeless look that having a black and white color scheme brings but let’s live a little on the wild side this year. If you are a more classic and traditional bride you can add in little pops of color through florals, stationary, signage, table decor, signature drinks, etc. Below you can see some fun and lively colors that Jules loves and recommends.
